Vaarso Season 1 marked the beginning of a journey to celebrate Gujarati music, poetry and our cultural roots in a contemporary soundscape.

It brought together voices including Priya Saraiya, Sangeeta Labadiya, Jaydev Gosai, Aditya Gadhvi, Vandana Gadhvi and Bharatdan Gadhvi.

Rooted in folk traditions, poetry and stories of the land, the season brought together diverse voices and sounds in a contemporary yet authentic expression. Each song carried a distinct shade of Gujarat — its soil, its people and its timeless cultural legacy. Season 1 laid the foundation for Vaarso’s journey of carrying this musical inheritance forward.

Vaarso Season 2 expanded the series’ musical canvas through distinctive voices and diverse interpretations of Gujarati music. Featuring Priya Saraiya alongside Aishwarya Joshi, Aamir Mir, Dharmesh Barot, Aditya Gadhvi, Vipul Barot and Jahnvi Shrimankar, the season presented seven tracks shaped by folk, devotional and poetic influences. Each collaboration brought its own character, making Season 2 a vibrant progression in Vaarso’s evolving musical journey.

Vaarso Season 3 brought together some of India’s most celebrated voices with artists deeply connected to Gujarat’s folk traditions. Featuring Shankar Mahadevan, Shreya Ghoshal, Geeta Rabari, Aditya Gadhvi, Keerthi Sagathia, Bhavna Labadiya, Aghori Muzik and Priya Saraiya, the six-song season moved seamlessly across folk, devotional and contemporary sounds. With each collaboration, Vaarso Season 3 opened Gujarati music to a wider audience while retaining the language, emotion and character at its heart.

Vaarso Season 4 brought together an exceptional cross-generational line-up, creating a dialogue between legendary voices, contemporary artists and Gujarat’s folk traditions. Featuring Hemant Chauhan, Rekha Bhardwaj, Shubha Mudgal, Karsan Sagathia, Sonu Nigam, Bhoomi Trivedi, Hariom Gadhavi, Mahavir Gadhavi, Moti Khan, Mad Trip, Jigar Saraiya and Priya Saraiya, the six-song season travelled from the poetry of Dasi Jeevan and Mareez to folk, devotional and experimental sounds. Season 4 reflects Vaarso at its most expansive - honouring the masters while creating space for new musical interpretations.
